So that’s what Jack Smith has been up to

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When evil is hatched, it does not come from nowhere. It takes someone to plan the hatching. And according to Jack Smith, that someone is Donald John Trump. Trump, looking ahead to his trial for attempting to steal the election, has been trying to keep Jack Smith from talking about that horrible day that was January 6.

But Jack Smith has a new court filing. And in that filing, it’s apparent that Trump’s to quote Politico, “is the heart of the case.” In Smith’s new filing, he says Trump’s name will be at the heart of the trial. Smith said Trump’s comments did not just come out of thin air. They were carefully calculated, intending to do just what they did — cause chaos.

“Culminated and converged.” This is what Trump’s evil plans did, Smith says. He’s right. January 6 would never have happened were it not for Trump. Evil, as I said, does not come out of thin air. There is ALWAYS someone behind that evil, pulling the strings, aching to make mayhem happen.

In this particular situation — January 6 — that one pulling the strings was Donald John Trump. Trump wanted all of what happened. He carefully prepped and shaped his tools of destruction, whispering to them, implanting them with chips of madness so he could use them — use them as instruments and nothing more — instruments of his own rage and hate.

Politico remarks that the January 6 panel spoke about all this. “Trump didn’t just assemble and stoke the violent mob that day. He used it to keep pressure on lawmakers and then Vice-President Mike Pence.”

It looks like Jack Smith agrees. You see, almost EVERYONE agrees. It isn’t just that Trump hatched all this evil. That would be bad enough. It’s that he fell deeply in love with the evil.

That awful day, as people were fighting away evil, as insurrectionists were hunting in a real-life Hunger Games, Trump was cheerfully eating and watching TV and falling in LOVE. He fell in love with that violence, that BEASTLY attempted coup d’etat, in a way he could never love a fellow human being.

He nurtured it, stroked its fires, kissed and purred to it, and when the time came to STOP it, he was nowhere to be found. These are the acts of evil that were hatched and carried out. This is the evil of Donald Trump.
