So much for that…

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this evening I pointed out that Donald Trump’s speech at the Libertarian Convention was such a boo-filled disaster, his social media handlers still hadn’t bothered to post any video clips from it. After all, how would they possibly find a clip they could take out of context to make Trump look good?

Now it turns out Trump’s handlers have indeed given up trying. Instead of any footage from Trump’s speech, they’ve posted two right wing propaganda articles falsely claiming Trump’s speech was a success, along with a video from Republican Senator Mike Lee falsely claiming that Trump’s speech was a success.

But the total lack of any footage from Trump’s actual speech tells you precisely what Trump’s social media handlers thought of it. They literally couldn’t find ten seconds where Trump was speaking coherently and not getting booed. That’s remarkable.
