So much for Brad Raffensperger

Back when Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger was taking a stand against Donald Trump’s election fraud, Palmer Report urged everyone not to try to turn Raffensperger into some kind of hero. Raffensperger had spent the entire election cycle making it as difficult as possible for people to vote, and he was ostensibly only standing against Trump because he didn’t want the legal liability of getting tied up in Trump’s election tampering.
Sure enough, now Raffensperger is dishonestly attacking Stacey Abrams, going so far as to falsely accuse her on Twitter of spreading “conspiracy theories” and worse. This is because Abrams dared to call out the fact that Raffensperger did everything he could to keep people from voting in the 2020 election.
In other words, Brad Raffensperger is just another corrupt Republican extremist who doesn’t think Black people should be allowed to vote. He simply had a dispute with Trump which happened to temporarily align his goals with the nation’s goals. Raffensperger was never on America’s side, and calling Stacey Abrams a “conspiracy theorist” proves it.
Accordingly, Palmer Report is expanding. We're bulking up our editorial and research staff and leaving no stone unturned on the editorial front and activism front. I'm asking you to help me build Palmer Report into what it needs to be. We're now 43% of the way to our funding goal. Please click here to donate whatever you can to this effort. Our future and our way of life depend on it.
