Donald Trump must have had one heck of a cocaine smoothie for breakfast

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Everyone from Dr. Howard Dean to the late Carrie Fisher has accused Donald Trump of being a cocaine user – particularly when he sniffed his way through three terrible debate performances in agitated and erratic fashion. There’s no proof that Trump is a coke addict, but if ever there was an argument to be made that he is one, Trump himself just made it this morning.

Donald Trump went on the kind of high-speed, rapid-fire, double-bonus-round racist tirade this morning that we didn’t think was possible, even from him. Yes, Trump is always this racist. He’s just not usually this fast about it. As soon as Trump got done ranting about “King Elijah” Cummings, he turned around and tweeted this about Al Sharpton:

“I have known Al for 25 years. Went to fights with him & Don King, always got along well. He “loved Trump!” He would ask me for favors often. Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing. Must have intimidated Comcast/NBC. Hates Whites & Cops! … Al Sharpton would always ask me to go to his events. He would say, “it’s a personal favor to me.” Seldom, but sometimes, I would go. It was fine. He came to my office in T.T. during the presidential campaign to apologize for the way he was talking about me. Just a conman at work!”

There were more racist tweets. At some point we just couldn’t keep up with them. By mid-morning King Elijah, Al Sharpton, Don King, and “Hates Whites & Cops” were all trending on Twitter, as people shared their disbelief over Donald Trump’s meltdown. Again, no one is surprised by the racism. It’s just that Trump is delivering his racist rants today in utterly maniacal fashion. You have to wonder how far away he is from reaching Al Pacino’s cocaine-fueled meltdown at the end of Scarface.
