Sidney Powell may have cut a deal with Jack Smith already

Dear readers, we've just launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our PayPal Page or our GoFundMe Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.

When Sidney Powell cut a plea deal in Fulton County this morning in exchange for her testimony against Donald Trump and others, we pointed out that there was probably more going on behind the scenes. Powell very likely wouldn’t have cut such a deal – and Fani Willis certainly wouldn’t have accepted it – unless Powell was also planning to cut a similar deal with Jack Smith in order to take the Fifth Amendment off the table.

Now it turns out we’re not the only ones who see it this way. Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner has now offered the expert assessment that “it’s reasonable to conclude Powell is ALREADY cooperating with the feds.”

It’s entirely possible that Sidney Powell has indeed been cooperating with Jack Smith’s investigation. And given the DOJ’s penchant for wanting to strategically keep these things a secret for as long as possible, it’s entirely reasonable to believe that Smith would have kept such cooperation under wraps all this time. It’s enough to make you wonder who else might be cooperating with Jack Smith behind the scenes.
