Sidney Powell just made an even bigger mess for Donald Trump in Fulton County

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this week, Donald Trump co-defendant Kenneth Chesebro filed for a speedy trial in Fulton County. Fani Willis responded by requesting that all nineteen defendants be given the same speedy trial date. All this has done is ensured that Chesebro goes to prison sooner, while putting pressure on the courts to hold Trump’s trial sooner as well.

Now Sidney Powell is also filing for a speedy trial in Fulton County. So much for the notion that Trump and Chesebro had some kind of master plan. It’s just every idiot for themselves. This puts more pressure on the courts to speedily try Trump along with them.

You can look for a strategy in all this, but you’re not going to find one. These people are simply idiots. There’s no scenario where any of these filings end up helping Trump. RICO charges aren’t magically subverted by a “clever” filing by a co-defendant.

So why are these idiots making these kinds of moves? Because they appear to be delusional enough to think they can magically make a RICO case unravel with something as silly as a speedy trial request. As if no one ever thought of that before. But Trump and his goons are just that arrogant.

If this kind of simplistic amateur hour stuff worked, everyone would use it, and no one would get convicted on RICO. But in reality just about everyone in Georgia gets convicted on RICO. There simply are no magic wands. So how will this play out?

Best case scenario (for us): it fully backfires and the courts force all defendants into a speedy trial together. In this scenario, Trump is convicted before the end of 2023.

Best case scenario (for them): there are two trials, one now for the speedy requesters, one later for the others. In this scenario, the courts may still likely feel compelled to have the second batch trial as soon as possible after the first batch trial.

“But the first trial will force Fani Willis to show her hand, and it’ll allow Trump to magically win his trial!” Nothing comes within a million miles of working this way. If this is their “strategy” then they’re even bigger idiots than we thought.

So why would Trump and his goons do something this stupid to themselves? The same reason Meadows partially cooperated against Trump in a way that got them both indicted. The same reason Giuliani did a proffer against Trump and still went down. The same reason their plot failed to begin with. They’re IDIOTS.

You can spend all day looking for a coherent strategy in what these morons are doing. You can spin up a narrative about how it means they’re a step ahead of us and we’re doomed, and you can go viral with it on Twitter. But it’ll still be a bunch of empty nonsense. There is no strategy here.

These are the same incoherent morons who spun up a plot to overthrow the government that was so stupid it had no chance of succeeding and couldn’t have achieved their goals even if it had succeeded.

These are the kraken people. The four seasons total landscaping people. After Trump lost the election and his usual henchmen left the building, these are the morons he had to rely on for the world’s most idiotic coup attempt. They’re still morons. They’re not suddenly smart now. We’re watching the world’s biggest morons destroy themselves in idiotic fashion. Enjoy the show.
