Sidney Powell just hit the panic button

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Sidney Powell keeps losing in court, and that’s not surprising, given that she’s both very guilty and very stupid. First she requested a speedy trial, thinking it would somehow magically help her. Then she got stuck with Kenneth Chesebro as a co-defendant, and today the judge refused their joint request to sever their trials from each other. So now Powell is stuck with a co-defendant she doesn’t want, and a speedy trial that’ll put her in prison more quickly. But she actually has broader problems than that.

Yesterday Powell asked the courts to grant a ninety day delay in a civil case against her, arguing that the criminal charges against her are getting in the way of her ability to deal with the civil case.

This request could actually end up getting granted. But when you’re at a point where you’re admitting that you’re unable to keep up with the civil cases against you because you’re drowning in the criminal cases against you, you’re hitting the panic button. You’re admitting that you’re screwed.

Of course this may still be just the beginning. Jack Smith listed Sidney Powell as one of his six co-conspirators in his latest Trump indictment, meaning Powell could be on track to end up criminally charged under federal law as well. So she may soon have yet another hopeless legal battle to try to juggle. These Trump folks were simply never going to be able to keep their heads above water as all these legal problems continue to come rushing in.
