Donald Trump’s “silent majority” nonsense just got completely shut down

Donald Trump, whose approval rating average is so low it’s on the verge of falling into the thirties, wants us to believe that the majority of Americans somehow secretly support him. He keeps trotting out Richard Nixon’s “silent majority” line, seemingly unaware that at the time Nixon gave that speech, he did in fact have majority support.

This evening Trump yelled “THE SILENT MAJORITY IS STRONGER THAN EVER!!!” Fortunately, Congressman Ted Lieu was on hand to point out what a majority actually looks like – and they’re anything but silent:
