Donald Trump caught using Sharpie to alter map so it looked like the hurricane hit Alabama

We've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. Over the holiday weekend, Donald Trump repeatedly and mistakenly insisted that Alabama was going to get hit hard by Hurricane Dorian, even though the storm was in the Atlantic Ocean, and Alabama doesn’t border the Atlantic Ocean. After the media corrected him, Trump went berserk on Twitter about it. Now he’s taken things much further in a lunatic direction.

Donald Trump appeared in the Oval Office today with a large map of Hurricane Dorian’s path and impact. The trouble: a black semicircle had been added to the map with a Sharpie to make it look like the impact reached Alabama. This was so crudely done, everyone saw right through it. When a reporter pointed out to Trump that his map had obviously been drawn on by a Sharpie, Trump’s response was “I don’t know, I don’t know.”

There are only two possible explanations here, and it’s not clear which is more disturbing than the other. The first possibility is that Donald Trump altered the map himself, or ordered his handlers to do it. This would be utterly and narcissistically deranged. The second possibility is that Trump’s handlers altered the map without his knowledge, because he’s just that fragile, and they were just that afraid of him having to come face to face with a map that revealed that he was wrong about the storm hitting Alabama.

Either way, it’s now painfully clear that Donald Trump is mentally unfit to be in office. He’s mentally unfit to walk down the street without adult supervision. The 25th Amendment should be invoked before the sun sets today.

It's been a tough week, a tough month, a tough year. For all of us. But the fight goes on. Because we know how important this is. Because we care. Because we're the ones who fight. It's you and me. It has been for a decade. And I'm never backing down. But Palmer Report does have operating expenses. And in this uncertain time, I truly need your help. For that reason I've launched the Palmer Report 2025 Operating Expenses Fund. If we can fully fund this, it'll bridge the gap and ensure that Palmer Report can keep fighting now and forever. I'm asking you to contribute what you can to our GoFundMe Page or our PayPal Page, both of which accept debit and credit cards. Thank you.
