“Sharp downward slope”
One of the most important fundamental questions of this election cycle is just how bad Donald Trump’s dementia will get, because that in turn will answer the question of how much attention the media ends up giving to the story. If the general consensus is that Trump is too senile to be a viable candidate, it’ll cost him a significant number of votes among those in the middle.
Remember, these are the people who (according to numerous recent polls) are already turning against Trump due to his newfound status as a convicted felon. If they decide he’s senile on top of it, he’ll be in real trouble.
So it’s noteworthy that TV networks are now airing segments like this one, where it’s directly stated that Trump’s cognitive abilities are rapidly collapsing:
Journalist: Trump just went on an untelligible rant about sharks and electrocution. He is having challenges talking in clear sentences and communicating. His rallies show you pretty clearly that he is on a sharp downward slope pic.twitter.com/02aX0vbIb1
