Charges dropped against Stormy Daniels after it’s revealed her arrest last night was a setup
Last night Stormy Daniels was arrested in Columbus, Ohio, as a result of a strip club act she performed. Palmer Report pointed out at the time that this had to be some kind of setup, as Daniels has been performing around the nation for years, and she’s never run afoul of local laws until now. It was clear she was being targeted for retribution by local law enforcement because she’s taken on Donald Trump. Now the charges have been dropped, because they were even more bogus than we thought.
It initially appeared that Stormy Daniels had been singled out for some kind of technicality that wouldn’t normally get a stripper arrested. Based on the legal documents posted today by Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti, the whole thing was even uglier. Daniels was not even in violation of the law that she was arrested for. Not only was she singled out for political reasons, she was falsely arrested in the process.
Daniels’ arrest was so illegitimate, the City Attorney immediately filed for the charges to be dropped, and the judge agreed, according to the documents posted by Avenatti. Now we wait to see if there’s an investigation into the local law enforcement authorities who improperly arrested Daniels, and whether it’s part of a larger effort to target those who have helped to expose Donald Trump’s crimes.
Meanwhile, Michael Avenatti says that Stormy Daniels has canceled her scheduled appearance tonight at the club where she was arrested, and that she’s performing at a competing club in town instead. It’s clear that Daniels isn’t going to be intimidated by these pro-Trump antics.
