Unhinged Donald Trump decides to start insulting senior citizens after realizing he’s losing their votes

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Earlier this week Donald Trump began viciously attacking New York, California, and Illinois, three states he’s not going to win anyway, as a way of taking out his frustrations on his expected election loss. At the time Palmer Report predicted that as Trump came closer to losing, he’d begin attacking other groups of voters who are leaning against him. But even we didn’t expect him to crash this far this fast.

At his rally in Pennsylvania this evening, Trump pleaded, “Suburban women, will you please like me?” It’s clear that Trump has seen some of the polling which shows that he’s getting blown out with women voters. Now it appears Trump has learned how poorly he’s doing with senior citizen voters, and he’s writing them off entirely.

Trump posted a tweet tonight that said “Biden for Resident” instead of President, and falsely depicted Joe Biden in a wheelchair with a bunch of other seniors in a retirement home. It’s one thing to insult Biden like this. But Trump is insulting senior citizens across the board with this imagery. While a lot of seniors may not be on Twitter, some of them certainly are – and this shameful tweet will go viral in the real world.

At this point Donald Trump seems less interested in winning than he does in insulting everyone on his way down. That’s good news for us. It means that while Trump is off playing the fool, we can double down on voter turnout, phone banking, and volunteering, and really run up the score.
