Donald Trump just had a completely senile moment in front of the TV cameras

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump has been in a long, strange cognitive downward spiral ever since he was mysteriously taken to the hospital a few months back. Ever since then, each of his public appearances has come off as incrementally more senile than the last. Today Trump held a de facto campaign rally at a factory in Allentown, and he had a completely senile moment in front of the TV cameras.

Trump has spent the past week suggesting that he doesn’t like the idea of testing people for coronavirus, because then it means there’s another confirmed case. But was he really saying that he believed someone only had coronavirus if they tested positive for it? As it turns out, yes, he really does believe that.

Trump said in exact word today that “if we didn’t do any testing we would have have very few cases.” There’s video (if the video below won’t play for you, go here instead):

There’s not a mentally competent person alive who believes that if you don’t test someone for a virus, it means they don’t have it. Mere ignorance or idiocy wouldn’t be enough to explain that kind of viewpoint. This is completely senile belief on Donald Trump’s part. He keeps slipping further by the day.
