Senile Donald Trump facing “confusion about reality”
Psychologists are living books of information on the human condition. I come from a family of psychologists and counselors, and I can tell you that if one is fascinated by the human brain, there is no better profession.
There is one leading psychologist who seems to have an interest in Donald Trump’s brain, and he has some fascinating things to say. Dr. Lance Dodes is the latest Doctor to come forward with concerns about Donald Trump’s declining mental health. Dodes has an excellent resume. He is a supervising analyst emeritus from the Boston Psychoanalytical Society and Institute and used to teach at Harvard. He is very concerned that Donald Trump may have dementia.
Dodes says that “Unlike normal aging, which is categorized by forgetting names or words, Trump repeatedly shows something very different.”
“Confusion about reality.” Wow. That’s telling it like it is, wouldn’t you agree? He goes on to say: “If he (Trump) were to become President he would have to be immediately be removed from office via the 25th amendment as dangerously unable to fulfill the responsibilities of office.”
Those are dire words. But he’s not the only one this week pointing out Trump’s mental health. Psychologist Suzanne Lachmann is as well. “Seemingly forget how the sentence began and invent something in the middle” is what she describes Donald Trump as doing.
This only reinforces my belief that should Trump be the nominee, he will not be able to appear in public much. You will notice, as Bill Palmer outlined, that his campaign team has seemingly prevented him from doing as many rallies as he used to. There is a reason for that, and I think the reason is a little thing called mental health—or lack thereof.
