Senile Donald Trump didn’t appear to recognize one of his own pals in court today

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s ongoing lack of a response to Michael Cohen’s testimony suggests that Trump may not even remember who Cohen is. This seems like a stretch until you consider that Trump is so deep into dementia symptoms that he now thinks Obama and Biden are the same person, Pelosi and Haley are the same person, E. Jean Carroll and Marla Maples are the same person, and so on. Today Trump gave a clue that he may not remember someone else involved in all of this.

Jeffrey Clark, one of Trump’s co-defendants in the Fulton County criminal case, appeared at Trump’s New York criminal trial today. But when Clark presented himself to Trump, Trump reportedly ignored him. Why would Trump ignore one of his own special guests, unless he no longer has any recollection of who Clark is?

Keep in mind that this comes after Trump did recognize his Trump Organization pal Jeff McConney on the stand last week, but didn’t appear to understand that McConney was giving testimony against him, and ended up congratulating McConney with a fist bump after it was over.

Donald Trump keeps showing us that he no longer reliably knows who the people in his life are anymore. In political speeches, he keeps combining multiple political figures into the same person, and he needed a notecard to list off the names of his kids. In the courtroom, his inconsistent ability to recognize or remember people is just bizarre. He seemed to think McConney was there to help him. He didn’t seem to know who Cohen was. And now he doesn’t seem to know who Jeffrey Clark is either. This just keeps getting more alarming.
