Senile Donald Trump appears to call Melania “Mercedes”

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Donald Trump’s senility has reached a point where he can no longer differentiate between Obama and Biden, or between Pelosi and Haley. He’s also had multiple recent instances where he’s seen his own name on the teleprompter and didn’t appear to remember that he was “Donald Trump.”

It’s just a matter of time before Trump starts losing track of the people closest to him. When he was recently asked about his son Barron, he couldn’t remember anything about him, other than being tall. And now there’s new footage in which Trump appears to refer to his wife Melania as “Mercedes”:

.
There’s important context here. Trump was speaking at the CPAC conference, which is run by Matt Schlapp, whose wife Mercedes Schlapp has worked for Trump in the past. So it’s possible that when Trump said “Mercedes” he was referencing Mercedes Schlapp and not Melania Trump. But even if so, it makes very little sense, and still points to something being wrong with Trump cognitively.

As Trump keeps showing us, dementia patients start to merge the people around them together. It’s why Trump thinks Biden and Obama are the same person, for instance. Now it appears Trump may think that his wife Melania and his associate Mercedes are the same person. This is only going to get worse.
