Sean Hannity blames Mitch McConnell as Republicans fall into disarray

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Based on historical trends, the 2022 midterms should have been a cakewalk for the Republicans. But the Democrats have put in such an impressive performance, they’re now strongly in midterm contention. And as things continue to look dicier for the Republicans in 2022, the blame game is already underway.

Earlier this week Mitch McConnell said he feared the Republicans might not win the Senate in the midterms, and blamed the quality of the candidates – a clear implication that Donald Trump’s handpicked losers like Mehmet Oz and Herschel Walker are dragging down the party’s prospects.

But now Fox News punchline Sean Hannity is blaming Mitch McConnell for the Republicans’ worsening midterm prospects:

It’s clear that the Republicans are in disarray heading into the midterms. This creates an opening for the Democratic Party to win the midterms, but only if Democratic supporters seize the opportunity. Now is the time.

The Senate is there for the taking. The House is within striking distance. Yes, a Blue Wave is possible this November, but only if we put in the work. Donate, volunteer, phone bank, send postcards, and use your social media accounts to share links to Democratic candidates’ websites. It’s a Blue Wave if you want it badly enough!
