Scotland tells Donald Trump he’s not allowed
Yesterday we brought you the story of how Donald Trump was allegedly planning to travel to Scotland the day before President Biden’s inauguration. It raised questions about whether Trump was simply looking to get out of the country due to embarrassment, or if this was step one in trying to flee from prosecution in the United Staes.
Either way, it now looks like Trump won’t even get as far as Scotland, let alone whatever non-extradition country he might have tried to flee to from there. Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon announced today that Trump won’t be allowed to enter Scotland for a golf trip, because it’s not considered “essential” travel during a pandemic.
In other words, Trump is already getting the first taste of what it’s like to be an ordinary citizen again, with his presidency going poof in just fifteen days. It’s about to get a whole lot worse for him.
