Score another one for Joe Biden

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

We’re very fortunate to have President Biden in a time where two sizable conflicts are breaking out around the globe and represent the long-standing struggle between democracy and autocracy. While detractors have always focused on President Biden’s age, it’s actually a good thing to have someone who’s overly experienced in international affairs and has a considerable number of contacts across the globe.

With the high stakes of the Israel-Hamas conflict, he’s been vocal about his public support for Israel and the right of the Israeli people to defend themselves, he’s also been able to get concessions from Israel’s neighbors in order to get aid to Palestinian citizens in the Gaza strip.

Meanwhile, Republicans are floundering on a clear message about Israel, but they only recently elected a speaker and they’re still fighting over a bill that would effectively provide aid to that country.

Fortunately, Biden’s diplomacy has not gone unnoticed, with the group Jewish Democrats running an ad emphasizing the historical significance of him being the first U.S. president to visit Israel during wartime, while attacking Donald Trump – reminding people that he openly praised the Hamas and Hezbollah terrorist groups as being ‘smart’ – a remark that the former guy will likely contend with throughout his campaign. The contrast couldn’t be clearer and this ad sends the message home: President Biden is the leader the world needs, and that’s why we need to re-elect him in 2024.
