Sarah Huckabee Sanders goes off the Fox News deep end

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When Donald Trump’s White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders abruptly resigned and announced she was moving back to Arkansas, we wondered aloud what she was really up to. Surely she had been offered a make-work job at the Super PAC where Trump parks all his loyal former advisers, in the hope of keeping them loyal – yet she didn’t take any such offer. Now we have our answer, and it’s disturbing, if all too predictable.

Fox News has announced that it’s hired Sarah Huckabee Sanders as a political commentator. This means she’ll be spending her days telling positive lies about the Trump regime and negative lies about Trump’s adversaries – which is pretty much exactly what she was doing back when she was working for Trump.

Fox News is willing to try out just about anyone on-air who might be able to deliver strong TV ratings (and let’s face it, this is also true to a lesser extent with the other cable news networks), so we’re not surprised at all that it offered a job to Sarah Huckabee Sanders. It’s just shameful that she’s actually taking the job, considering the damage she’s already done to the country.

This comes right after we all learned that Dancing With The Stars is bringing in Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ predecessor Sean Spicer as a contestant during the upcoming season. This is nothing short of disgusting. Spicer and Sanders both routinely lied to the American public in order to help a criminal madman carry out his deranged agenda. The public should teach Fox News and Dancing With The Stars a lesson by tuning out, and costing them the ratings they so desperately crave.
