Sarah Huckabee Sanders goes completely off the deep end

Donald Trump’s latest summit with Kim Jong Un ended up being such a failure, at a time when everything else is going wrong for Trump that could possibly go wrong, he couldn’t even bring himself to go through the motions of finishing it. Instead Trump simply blew the rest of it off and came home early, despite knowing that most people would conclude he gave up and quit because Michael Cohen’s testimony broke him.

Just don’t tell any of this to Donald Trump’s White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who seems to truly believe that Trump’s summit somehow ended up going well for him. She ended up tweeting one of the most surreal pieces of propaganda we’ve seen out of the Trump propaganda machine to date:

“President Obama refused to walk away from a bad deal with Iran. President Donald Trump refuses to make the same mistake with Iran, North Korea, or anybody else. President Trump will always put the safety of the American people above politics.”

Wow. If Donald Trump is supposed to be so good at this, why did he rip up President Obama’s deal with Iran, and then fail to even bother trying to negotiate a new deal to replace it? For that matter, if there was no deal to be had with North Korea, why did Trump set up a summit with Kim and then spend a month loudly promoting it? Oh, that’s right: Trump is a weakling, and the summit was just a front for meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister in Vietnam anyway.
