Samuel Alito is at it again
There is absolutely no reason why Extreme Court Justice Samuel Alito needed to speak to Donald Trump by phone on Tuesday. The antics of these corrupt justices have made the court a laughing stock. Again and again, they engage in partisan politics, with an aura about them that screams the message “who cares.”
Alito claims he only spoke to Donald Trump because one of his law clerks asked him to take the call. This clerk reportedly might go work for Trump, so one supposes Alito acted as a reference for this person — less than 24 hours before Trump filed with the court to block his sentencing date on Friday.
Alito insists he and Trump did not discuss anything of a legal nature. I don’t believe him. Sammy says the call was completely innocent. I don’t believe him. Alito claims that all he was doing was helping a law clerk get a job. I don’t believe him. Why? Well, let’s use an analogy.
A wolf stalks the wild forests, hunting and gathering and following his prey closely. The wolf is dressed as a sheep. When eventually he is caught, he protests, saying: I’m just an innocent sheep! But everyone knows he’s lying because they’ve seen the damage said wolf has done.
Well, that is how it is with Mr. Alito. Alito-whose wife seemingly enjoys flying upside down MAGA flags and who has shown us — again and again — that he is no gentle sheep, but rather a gleaming-eyed wolf, always hungry for more power.
We will likely never know what was said on that call, a call that never should have happened. If it DID have to happen, Mr. Alito should have immediately recused himself from this case. But he hasn’t.
The Supreme Court is profoundly unpopular, and this little move by Sammy will only make them MORE unpopular. At least THAT is one thing many of the American people — not all, but many — are united on. They are unified in thinking that this court stinks to high heaven. This court are not students of history; they are students of corruption.
