Russia now worries about Donald Trump’s downfall

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

As is clearly evident to the average observer, Donald Trump’s recent behavior and Twitter rants are becoming even more unhinged than usual. What could have possibly caused this sudden behavior? As most are aware, Trump has increased the intensity and frequency of his attacks on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Trump-Russia treason, but what is currently driving this recent deranged behavior?

Trump has spent his entire illegitimate time in office doing everything to appease his boss, Russian President Vladimir Putin. As Palmer Report has previously documented, Julia Davis is an expert in Russian propaganda with the Atlantic Council’s Disinformation Portal, tracking Russian State Media television. This week, Davis penned an article for The Daily Beast in which she documented further evidence of Putin’s influence on all of Trump’s decisions.

As all American media outlets continue to forecast and discuss how the 2018 midterm elections will play out, Russian State Media is making its own predictions. With every statistical analysis predicting a coming blue wave, Russian media has begun the discussion of a possible Trump impeachment. The host of Russian state television’s own version of 60 Minutes asked “Will anything change in November? Let’s jokingly assume that we interfere and all goes well for Trump.” Former Russian ambassador to America, Sergey Kislyak, responded to this question saying, “Let’s not joke about that. Americans have lost their sense of humor.” It is not that Americans cannot joke about politics, we just no longer appreciate dialogue that involves a foreign adversary stealing our democracy.

It is quite clear that Putin and the Kremlin realize their time is coming to an end. As Palmer Report advised five months ago, America could most hurt Putin, and his oligarch allies, by eliminating his access to SWIFT, the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications. According to Davis’ article, military expert Sergei Sudakov confirmed that Russian’s biggest fear is the possibility of “being disconnected from SWIFT.” While we watch the downfall of Trump, along with everyone involved in protecting him from facing justice, it is good to know that there is a plan to punish everyone involved in the selling out of America.
