Running and screaming
On and on they go. Where will they stop? Nobody knows. Every line of attack the MAGA Republicans have used on Soon-to-be President Kamala Harris has not worked—none of them. Let’s take a look at some of these most inventive and repulsive attack lines—because the GOP must be crestfallen that not one of them has worked.
Race. Oh yeah, the DEI attack. All THAT line of attack has produced is fury — at the racist, misogynistic Republicans for using that line of attack in the first place.
BORDER CZAR. That felt flat. That fell flat faster than an over-baked pie. This is because Harris was never a czar and also because we HAD a plan to fix the border — and Trump screwed it up with one phone call saying he wanted to make the border a campaign issue.
CHILDLESS CAT LADY. Well, Kamala is not childless, and the only one whose poll numbers suffered from THAT line of attack is Vance himself, who virtually EVERYONE now loathes.
Mike Johnson sternly warned that he’d sue to keep Harris off the ballot. How typical. When all else fails, threaten litigation! How very Republican for you, Johnson. Sadly for Johnson, 48 states have now confirmed Harris will be on the ballot, and she will be on the other two. This threat is going nowhere.
Her laugh. Do you know how many angry MAGA idiots I’ve seen complaining Harris laughs too loudly — or too much — or that her laugh is fake?/ Harris’s laugh has been dissected by professional woman haters everywhere. All it’s gotten them is — more laughter.
When this writer hears Kamala’s laugh, she thinks of wind-chimes on a sunny day. But apparently, Republicans don’t like sunny days. That might be why they always seem to be scowling so much.
Kamala won’t be the nominee. The only one saying this is Donald Trump, who is currently curled up at Mara-a-logo- cowardly tail between his legs (and cheeseburger wrappers between his couch cushions), terrified at the thought of debating her.
I could go on. The bottom line is that everything the GOP does backfires. Kamala is running away with the votes, and there isn’t one damn thing the GOP can do about it.
