Rudy Giuliani goes completely berserk after Trump nominee sells him out to Congress
Earlier today Palmer Report brought you the story of how Donald Trump’s plan to take a key impeachment witness out of the equation had apparently backfired on him. He nominated Deputy Secretary of State John Sullivan to be a U.S. Ambassador, in an attempt at getting him out of the country and preventing him from testifying about the Ukraine scandal.
Trump appeared to forget that such a nomination would actually force John Sullivan to testify to the Senate during the confirmation process, which would mean he would definitely face questions from Senate Democrats about the Ukraine scandal. Sure enough, Sullivan sold Trump out today by acknowledging under oath that it’s wrong for the president to ask a foreign nation to investigate his political rivals. Sullivan also sold out Rudy Giuliani, and let’s just say that Rudy isn’t taking it well. He tweeted this bizarre meltdown attacking Sullivan:
The Amb. nominee doesn’t know what he’s talking about and shouldn’t be incorrectly speculating. This is an orchestrated attempt to harass and hinder me in my role as Donald Trump’s attorney. All of the information I obtained came from interviews conducted as private defense counsel to POTUS, to defend him against false allegations. I began obtaining this information while Mueller was still investigating his witch hunt and a full 5 months before Biden even announced his run for Pres. It won’t work!
This is all gibberish, of course. But it means that Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani are now so backed into a corner, Rudy is being forced to publicly accuse Trump’s own nominee of being part of an orchestrated conspiracy against him. Also, Rudy just confessed that he’s been criminally conspiring with Trump in the Ukraine scandal for nearly a year now – far longer than previously known.
