Rudy Giuliani just took another ugly legal blow

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

How bad of legal shape is Rudy Giuliani in these days? He’s under criminal indictment and awaiting trial in Fulton County, and he also appears headed for indictment at the hands of Jack Smith. On top of that, his attorneys keep quitting. And his civil case against Georgia election workers has gone so poorly that he’s already lost it by summary judgment before the trial has even begun. Now it’s somehow gotten even worse for him.

The judge in the civil case has now ruled that the trial jury will be informed that Rudy Giuliani tried to hide his assets in the hope of tricking the jury into assigning smaller financial penalties against him. What does this mean? It likely means the jury will assign even larger financial penalties against him than it otherwise would have.

In other words, by trying to cheat his way into hanging onto his assets, Giuliani has likely cost himself even more of his assets. It’s a good reminder that these Trump world idiots aren’t “getting away” with anything by these kinds of antics. All they’re doing is making things even worse for themselves.
