Rudy Giuliani just sealed his fate

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Now that Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, and Jenna Ellis have all cut cooperating plea deals in Fulton County, there are two ugly realities for the remaining defendants. First, these plea deals sharply increase the odds of everyone else getting convicted at trial. Second, there probably aren’t a lot of lenient plea deals left to go around.

It’s being reported that Fulton County DA Fani Willis has offered plea deals to six of the remaining defendants. This is essentially their last chance to avoid going to prison. But it turns out Rudy Giuliani apparently very much wants to go to prison.

Through an intermediary, Giuliani told the media today that he won’t be cutting a plea deal because “every single prosecutor in this case is a partisan Democrat focused on their own partisan political ambitions.” Well okay then. That’s a good way for Rudy to turn down his very last chance at avoiding prison, and to alienate prosecutors so it’ll be harder for him to get any sort of deal if he changes his mind later.

That sound you just heard was Rudy Giuliani’s life as a free man coming to an end. He’s decided to spend the rest of his life rotting in prison. So be it.
