Rudy Giuliani just got disbarred again

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

America’s Disgrace Rudy Giuliani was disbarred in New York earlier this year for activities related to the 2020 election. Today, the Washington, DC bar also disbarred Giuliani due to the DC and New York bars having a reciprocal relationship – meaning getting disbarred in one of those jurisdictions is grounds for getting disbarred in the other jurisdiction.

Of course, Giuliani’s people are whining about how this is all politically motivated and how “members of the legal community who want to protect the integrity of our justice system” should join Giuliani in whining about the decision. Sorry Giuliani, but those legal professionals who wanted to protect this nation’s justice system have spoken out by revoking your privileges to practice law. You were the one who tried to help a convicted felon carry out a coup against our government.

And according to the DC Court of Appeals, you were given an opportunity to object to the disbarment but failed to do so. So now you can deal with the consequences of your actions and your failure to object properly to the disbarment order.
