Rudy Giuliani goes off the deep end after Lev Parnas sells him out to Rachel Maddow

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Lev Parnas went on the Rachel Maddow show tonight and spilled his guts about Donald Trump’s Ukraine extortion scandal. In the process Lev incriminated Trump, Mike Pence, Bill Barr, and – predictably – Rudy Giuliani. It’s been widely documented that Lev and Igor Fruman were working with Rudy at the very center of the scandal.

Lev spelled out how Rudy instructed him to threaten the government of Ukraine if it didn’t help smear Joe Biden, and after Ukraine shut Lev out, Rudy vowed that Ukraine would be punished; Donald Trump then punished Ukraine. It paints a picture of Rudy running point on Trump’s plot against Ukraine, and being criminally out of control.

At the end of the show, Rachel Maddow read aloud the responses that she got from the various people who had just been incriminated by Lev Parnas. Bill Barr’s Department of Justice generically denied Lev’s claims. Rudy Giuliani had a different take, insisting that the whole Lev thing was a “sad situation!”

Really? A sad situation? Rudy Giuliani just got exposed by one of his own criminal co-conspirators, in a way that all but ensures he’ll end up going to prison, and all that Rudy can do is yell nonsense? Rudy is off the deep end, and for good reason. He’s almost certainly the next domino to fall.
