Rudy Giuliani goes completely bonkers after his takeover of Donald Trump’s legal team is a disaster
When Donald Trump announced that Rudy Giuliani would be taking over what was left of his election legal challenge, everyone knew it was going to be a disaster. We suspect that even Trump knew as much, and he was merely using the inept Rudy to buy a bit more time while pocketing more donations for his legal fund. After all, Rudy works for free.
Tonight the Washington Post revealed that Trump’s legal team is now dropping most of its own legal case in Pennsylvania, effectively a surrender. In response to the news, Rudy Giuliani began attacking a law firm of all things. Rudy tweeted this: “Do not use the law firm of Swaine & Viebeck. They are the WAPO activists who falsely wrote that we changed our case in PA. They didn’t read para 132-150 which repeat all the allegations of the 680,777 mail in votes which were deliberately concealed from Republican inspectors.”
If anything, this only makes us tempted to really like Swaine & Viebeck, whoever they might be. It’s clear that Rudy’s senile ineptitude is already wrecking what little was left of Trump’s legal case. It’s not that the case was going anywhere anyway – but it’s kind of fun to watch Rudy screw things up for Trump in such swift and predictable fashion. It couldn’t happen to nicer traitors.
