Rudy Giuliani posts bizarre tweet, deletes it
Earlier today, NBC News reported yet another humiliating story for Rudy Giuliani. It turns out that right after Donald Trump named Rudy as his cybersecurity czar in 2007, Rudy put the wrong password into his iPhone so many times in a row, he ended up having to take it to the Apple Store. So much for being a cybersecurity czar.
Rudy Giuliani has far bigger problems than his ongoing technical difficulties, of course. For instance, he’s on the verge of being arrested for his role in Donald Trump’s Ukraine scandal. But Rudy never met an embarrassing scandal that he couldn’t make worse by opening his mouth, and so he posted this bizarre tweet: “@NBCNEWS, last I check FBI, last year, had to ask Apple to unlock an iPhone too! We’re all human just maybe not tonight…” He then added a pumpkin emoji.
This was a pretty stupid tweet, so perhaps it wasn’t surprising that Rudy quickly deleted it. But it turned out he only deleted it so he could then post a different version of it: “Hey @NBCNews, last I checked the FBI, last year, had to ask Apple to unlock an iPhone too! We’re all human, just maybe not tonight…” Rudy is right. He’s not human. He’s a vampire. And he’s headed to prison. Happy Halloween.
