Donald Trump just put down the last of his chips on Rudy Giuliani

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

When you consider that Rudy Giuliani has apparently been exposed to coronavirus by two different people in two different states over the past ten days, it’s a wonder he’s even still with us. It’s even more of a wonder that Rudy is still on Donald Trump’s legal team. Now Trump is inexplicably betting everything he has left on Rudy.

Trump is only pretending to contest the election so he can continue to fundraise from it, he merely needs to put in a minimal showing in court to keep up the ruse. He keeps losing nearly every court ruling, which was predictable since he has literally no case. But now that more and more people can see through his ruse, the New York Times says Trump has decided to put Rudy Giuliani in charge of his election legal battles going forward. Wait a minute here.

Rudy Giuliani is even more senile than Donald Trump is. Why would Trump be betting the last of his “contesting the election” chips on Rudy of all people? Perhaps now that Trump is at the end of his rope, he’s delusionally convinced himself that he can win these imaginary court battles. Or maybe Trump knows the jig is nearly up and he needs a scapegoat for why his legal battles failed, and he figures Rudy fits the bill. Also, Rudy works for free, and this is all about money. In any case, it’s all near the end now.
