Rudy Giuliani goes completely berserk after one of Trump’s top apologists sells him out

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

After the news surfaced last week that a federal grand jury was targeting Rudy Giuliani on a boatload of serious criminal charges, Donald Trump began incrementally distancing himself. Trump claimed that he never told Rudy to carry out the Ukraine extortion scandal, and he insisted that Rudy has a bunch of clients in Ukraine.

Now one of Donald Trump’s top apologists, Fox News stooge Steve Hilton, is now reporting that Rudy Giuliani pursued business deals to personally enrich himself in Ukraine. Well duh. It’s already been widely reported that Rudy was pursuing these deals while carrying out Donald Trump’s corrupt bidding in the region. But in Steve Hilton’s version, it was just Rudy doing things wrong and Trump is innocent.

Suffice it to say, Rudy isn’t pleased to hear that a key Trump apologist is trying to scapegoat him in front of the Fox News audience. Rudy posted this tweet in response: “I have not taken a penny for representing my friend, President Trump. I am outraged that Steve Hilton reported that I was trying to pursue private business deals in Ukraine to “enrich” myself, when in reality I have made ZERO in Ukraine! Very lazy reporting!”

Rudy Giuliani then proceeded to go on a prolonged tirade about Hilton. It’s clear that Rudy understands that he’s now being scapegoated by Trump’s apologists and allies, in a last ditch attempt at saving Trump. If Rudy doesn’t like what’s happening to him, his best move would be to cut a plea deal against Trump before he’s arrested, while he still has some leverage.
