Whatever you think of Ronald Reagan – and we don’t think much of him – he was certainly less bad of a president than Donald Trump. Now it turns out the people running the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute feel the same way about Trump.

The Ronald Reagan Institute has demanded that Donald Trump and the Republican National Committee cease using Reagan’s name and likeness in his campaign marketing, according to the Washington Post. This is notable because it means those in control of Ronald Reagan’s legacy are now telling the Republican Party that it can’t use Reagan to try to get a Republican candidate elected President. The Republican Party is that far gone.
