Ron DeSantis makes a complete fool of himself

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

There is a theory in some cultures. That theory goes like this: Shortly before a new baby comes into the world, the Gods and the fairies all gather and bestow upon the new child certain gifts that the child will carry with them through life.

It’s a lovely idea. But this also works both ways. Sometimes, negative traits can also be handed out. I have a theory that when Florida Governor Ron Desantis was born, he was given all the negative traits.

DeSantis (Nothing positive about him I can find, Insurrection party, Florida) is an idiot. And he is seemingly desperate to make himself look crooked and moronic enough that MAGA will like him.

DeSantis is bizarrely screeching that he wants to find some illegal immigrants and bus them right up to President Biden’s doorstep. One wonders how far members of the GOP will go with the crazy. With all of them trying desperately to outdo each other while seemingly doing nothing for the American people, it really is puzzling how they get it together to have elections at all.

And it is so lovely of DeSantis to announce this around Veterans Day, is it not? (Sarcasm.) Of course, this won’t happen. But here’s the thing — there are some members of MAGA who will most likely believe this. Critical thinking skills are not their priority, as they’ve proven time and again.

So, yes, there will be some who will excitedly wait to see DeSantis play bus driver, riding off into the sunset with a bus-load of people, determinedly driving toward DC. It’s make-believe, but they will believe it just like they believe John F. Kennedy Jr. will be joining Mick Jagger at a Stones concert near you. If you do one thing in the next few days on Twitter? Follow @RemoveRon. They describe themselves as “dedicated to taking down Ron DeSantis in 2022.” Let’s give them some help.
