Ron DeSantis just suffered his second epic fail of the week

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. What would you do if I told you there is another group besides humans who utterly despise Ron DeSantis? It’s true. This group is not human. But this week, they’ve shown their disdain for Mr. DeSantis in unique and extremely fun ways.

This group I speak of is — technology. Make no mistake, technology despises Ron DeSantis. Because this week, Mr. DeSantis became known as a walking-talking technical glitch.

As you know, Ron’s presidential announcement came complete with glitches, silence, and many a malfunction. It seems Twitter and Ron were not on the same page. Only now, DeSantis is continuing his legacy of repelling technology. Because it’s happened again.

After he failed to launch on Twitter, DeSantis decided to do an interview with Newsmax. He likely chose NewsMax because they are alt-right — as alt-right as a network could possibly be, and Ron likely knew he wouldn’t get tough questions. And he didn’t. he got something worse. Video freeze. Gosh, how our technology hates DeSantis.

Ron was to be interviewed by Newsmax’s Eric Bolling. And he asked Ron about the travel advisory put out against Florida: “This is such a stunt.” “It’s a typical political farce.”

But wait, wait! Something was wrong. The video had frozen. Ron’s whiny mug hovered there, utterly frozen. But the funniest part of it all is that the audio was NOT frozen. It kept going, undoubtedly confusing many and making DeSantis look like the weirdo he is.

And somehow, the fact that the audio kept going with a frozen image of DeSantis made the whole thing funnier.

People on Twitter were utterly hysterical bout it and with good reason. Perhaps we’ve all underestimated technology all these years, and it CAN think for itself. Because for this week, it sure is rejecting Ron DeSantis. He’s being repudiated by computers, video feeds, and social media. The fun hasn’t stopped for a minute.
