Ron DeSantis just stepped in it

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Oh no, Ron DeSantis you didn’t! He did. So Ron DeSantis had an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper on Tuesday. Of course I imagine not too many people tuned in. Unfortunately Ron did not do himself any favors during this interview.

Saying nothing of importance, Ron’s squeaky voice filled the television set, no doubt turning off a lot of people. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The man’s voice is a weapon of mass destruction. Anyway, he was asked by Tapper about Trump and the indictments and whether it would harm his campaign, and then Ron opened his mouth and he said this: “The proof is in the pudding.”

Amazing how things can change in one second. Most people think it was a simple slip of the tongue, but in one second, Pudding fingers was reborn. And it’s too bad, because people had started to forget the image of DeSantis, squatting as he clumsily scooped up pudding with his fingers. The image had started to become a mere memory.

Unfortunately, DeSantis resurrected said memory himself, and quicker than one could say, “gross,” Twitter was on it. Pudding fingers came alive again said with joy by thousands of Tweeters. Now I was going to list here some comments that are particularly funny as I do in many articles.

However, I can’t do that here because the truth is most people said the same thing. “Pudding fingers!” said over and over and over as the cries of the ecstatic rang out. So the end of the day DeSantis had a nice little interview with Mr. Tapper and nobody will remember a damn word he said, except for the proof is in the pudding. They’ll remember that and laugh about that as they laugh at everything DeSantis says. Great interview, Ronnie.
