Ron DeSantis is playing a dangerous game on this one

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is under fire right now after going insane and pulling the liquor license of The Hyatt Regency in Miami. His reason for doing so? The hotel features a drag show. And Ron says minors were present. Stop the presses!

The squeaky-voiced soon-to-be presidential contender is seemingly determined to repulse EVERYBODY. All over social media, he’s got folks stunned. And even many republicans are saying this was excessive on his part.

There is an organization for LGBT rights in Florida called The Organization Equality Florida. They had this to say: “How far will he take this? Will he raid movie theaters because parents take their teenagers to see R-Rated movies?”

The answer to that question is yes, he probably would. DeSantis doesn’t care about much, but one thing he DOES care about is that everybody does what he wants all the time. In fact, that appears to be the ONLY thing the dour little man cares about.

The fact is Florida’s politics are not the politics of the rest of the country. I am fascinated by how DeSantis thinks he will win votes from people in the middle. Indeed he cannot believe these people LIKE him.

One never knows with the Floridian fool. His ego is off the charts so he might believe his press. Naturally, most people are defending the luxury hotel. And the good news is that if DeSantis runs for President, he cannot remain governor of Florida.

Florida requires elected officials running for office to resign if holding another one. Some say he can try to pass a rules change. Whatever happens, I do hope Ron runs. It might be the perfect way to get him the hell out of Florida.
