Ron DeSantis has angry meltdown during press conference
Imagine a politician who’s every bit as corrupt and ill tempered as Donald Trump, but with half the intellect and cunning. That’s Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a nutshell. He’s in over his head, his scandals keep getting worse, and he’s not handling it well.
DeSantis tried to roll out the COVID vaccine specifically to the counties and zip codes that voted for him, and he’s still playing games with it. As a result, Floridians have widely expressed exasperation at the slow and spotty rollout. Now DeSantis is taking heat for it, facing a question about why he exclusively partnered with a grocery store that made a major donation to him:

Ron DeSantis is trying to do a Trump impression in these situations, by attacking the media for daring to ask him about his criminal scandals. But DeSantis just comes off as defensive and clumsy, and is in no way able to make the scandals go away. He’s up for reelection next year.
