Ron DeSantis gets ripped to pieces
I happen to adore the bright and colorful mural that is the state of Florida. This mural features captivating beaches, swaying palm trees, enchanting orange groves, and many sunny days. It also features — Governor Ron DeSantis.
Governor DeSantis must be a focus of ours going forward. There are few things I’d enjoy more than seeing him lose another term as Governor. The Governor of hate — that’s what I like to call him. But it’s not just me. The South Florida Sun-Sentinel published an editorial where they ripped into the non-Governor.
Calling him “authoritarian,” the piece goes on like this:
Remember the boogeyman, that specter your parents invoked to make you behave?
Gov. Ron DeSantis has a boogeyman for the people of Florida. It is a real thing known as Critical Race Theory — a discipline taught at some colleges but not in Florida’s public schools.”
The Governor wants nonetheless to ban it from schools and, for good measure, from the human resource policies and sensitivity training courses of privately held businesses. That is not conservative; It is reactionary and authoritarian.
Ain’t that the truth? It appears many cannot stand the whiny Governor. But Florida will be tough. It will be that way because it ALWAYS is. That is just how Florida rolls. But we can do it. We have to. Many thanks to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel for your honest and blunt reporting.
