Ron DeSantis’ failing campaign descends into chaos

Ron DeSantis is in trouble. His presidential campaign is going very, very badly. On a recent trip to Iowa, DeSantis decided to charm Iowans by speaking about — the mouse. Yes, Mickey is still living rent-free in his mind. DeSantis told Iowans that he would never back down from his fight with Mickey — not that Iowans most likely cared all that much.

I imagine they’re more concerned with what a President DeSantis would do for them. DeSantis didn’t say much beyond vowing to continue his fight with Mickey and to end wokeism. And that presents another problem for DeSantis. Does he even know what woke IS? Does ANY republican?

Somebody does need to ask that question. My guess is Ron, in particular, would not be able to answer it. In the meantime, Ronny-boy lost it with a reporter who innocently asked the question of why Ron wasn’t taking questions from the people who showed up to see him in New Hampshire.

“Are you BLIND?” Ron snapped, assuring himself of more cruddy press coverage. That’s the way to do it, Ron! Show them, Ron! Show them all! Show em your true colors, mouse-boy! In the meantime, Lincoln Project Cofounder Steve Schmidt tore into DeSantis, labeling him “The Mussolini of Tallahassee.” Ouch! It’s a good nickname, though.

Meanwhile, Ron’s other nickname, “DeSanctus,” got some play when a correspondent on Fox non-news accidentally referred to Ron as “DeSanctus” instead of DeSantis. “Iowa is where everybody starts. That’s why DeSanctus and Trump are there this week.”

And what’s worse — nobody bothered to correct the name. Meanwhile, donors and DeSantis supporters continue to worry about Ron’s archaic six-week abortion ban, which many think will stop people from voting for him, which of course it would.

In the meantime, Liz Cheney has refused to endorse DeSantos. DeSantis recently vowed that if he is elected president, he will “destroy leftism”, no doubt endearing himself to moderate voters and independents with a statement like that. (sarcasm.)

So as we move forward and even more candidates jump into the race, Ron DeSantis is being — well — Ron DeSantis. And that means he is showing himself to be an uncouth, whiny-voiced geek with about as much appeal as a rotting can of spam. And it can only get worse for the Mouse hater from here.
