Donald Trump has deranged meltdown about disgraced former Fox News boss Roger Ailes
After Fox News host Neil Cavuto warned Donald Trump not to take hydroxychloroquine today, Trump quickly began lashing out at the host and the outlet. Trump seems to miss the old days, when Fox News would praise his every idiotic move. But what Trump doesn’t get is that Fox is a for-profit business, and it’s going to say whatever its audience wants to hear, not what Trump wants to hear.
Trump ended up tweeting this tonight: “Fox News is no longer the same. We miss the great Roger Ailes. You have more anti-Trump people, by far, than ever before. Looking for a new outlet!”
This is surreal, considering Roger Ailes was ousted after he was credibly accused of sexual assault by a long list of women. This is really the guy Trump is hanging his hat on? Also, since Trump appears to be calling for Ailes to be brought back to Fox News, it’s not clear if Trump is aware that Ailes has been dead since 2017.
