RFK Jr. nomination hearing is a dumpster fire
There are serious questions as to whether Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has the votes to be confirmed to Donald Trump’s cabinet. Some Republican Senators are playing their cards close to the vest, but some of what’s leaked out suggests that RFK Jr. may indeed fall short. In the meantime, his public Senate confirmation hearing today isn’t helping him.
This guy keeps lying over and over again about his own record, including denying his own past quotes that have been widely documented. He’s trying really hard to come off as semi-reasonable, when in reality we all know that he’s one of the most mentally incompetent anti-medicine extremists in history.
Democratic Senators are hitting RFK Jr. hard, and his answers are getting embarrassing. If any Republican Senators went into the day on the fence about this guy, his shambolic performance didn’t help his odds.
