Republicans scatter as Donald Trump circles the drain

– It looks like Rick Scott probably gave COVID to Kelly Loeffler when they campaigned together last week, and then in turn Loeffler may have exposed David Perdue and Mike Pence yesterday. These Republicans are all refusing to wear masks when they’re around each other because they might hurt Donald Trump’s feelings, and now they’re gambling with their lives.

– Notably, the Republicans who no longer feel like they need Trump, such as Liz Cheney and Pat Toomey, are kicking him to the curb tonight as quickly as they can. In general it’s only the Republicans who think they still need Trump’s blessing to win (Loeffler, Perdue), and who are corruptly attached to Trump at the hip (Pence, Scott), who are still playing his dead-end games.

– I wouldn’t wish the coronavirus on anyone. But with Loeffler now likely quarantined for a couple weeks, and Perdue potentially heading into quarantine as well, now is the time for us to step up our game in the Georgia senate runoff. – Trump is now tweeting one Judge Jeanine video after another, which tells you how poorly his night is going.
