Republicans melt down and attack each other after Biden and the Democrats win on infrastructure
Remember that pathetic headline that Pundits seem to love? It is three words long — “Democrats in disarray.” Obviously, this was fake news, as Friday’s passage of Biden’s massive infrastructure bill has proven. But there is another group of not-so-fine folks that IS truly are in disarray.
This group is starting to splinter even more than usual. That is, of course, the GOP. And FYI, I’ve decided never to refer to them as a political party again — or at least not until they shed their cult-like behavior and start ACTING like a political party.
Assolini Trump, sputtering and most likely red-faced, has denounced President Biden’s infrastructure plan. Calling the Democratic victory “very sad,” Assolini also lashed out at Republicans who voted for the bill, calling them RINO’s. He specifically singled out Moscow Mitch.
At the same time, we have former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie issuing a dire warning to the failing GOP.
Christie (failed 2024 Presidential candidate, insurrection party, New Jersey) is warning Republicans to break away from Trump and focus on the future rather than the past.
No doubt Christie hopes the future will be him, but alas, this will not come to pass — especially when your biggest claim to fame is a New Jersey traffic scandal that most Americans think you knew about.
Also breaking is the news that according to ABC News Correspondent Johnathan Karl’s new book, on the last day of his pathetic Presidency, Trump had told the RNC Chairperson he was leaving the GOP.
He had to be talked out of it. Reportedly, members of the GOP, furious at assolini, threatened to make legal funds unavailable if he did this.
And finally, appearing on “Meet the Press,” Florida Republican Rick Scott pontificated on the importance of future GOP candidates accepting any Trump endorsements that might come in. He said it would be “foolish” for any candidate not to do that.
So — we have lots of chaos and disarray here in the non-party of the GOP. Will the media, other than Palmer Report, SAY anything about it? Will they highlight the “GOP in disarray?” These questions have not yet been answered, but we look forward to the day they finally are.
