Republican wasteland

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

If the GOP wins in November, our country will be in ruins. That’s just the way it is. It’s the cold and ugly truth. The GOP has far uglier plans than many realize. I shudder to think of what this country will look like should Republicans take power.

Our country will be in ruins. Our bright, beautiful, magnificent America — will be held hostage by a group of women-hating, country-hating, sick slime bags. I’m just calling balls and strikes here. And it’s worse than even some of you imagine.

Here is a good example. House Republicans have introduced a bill that would forbid ANY FEDERAL entity — be it libraries or school districts, or hospitals — from talking about sex or gender identity to children under the age of ten.

It’s basically the Ron DeSantis “don’t say the gay bill” — federal style. “Stop the sexualization of children act” is what they’re calling it. The bill cuts federal funding to any of the above-mentioned organizations that “host or promote any program, event or literature involving sexually-oriented material.”

The fact that schools and libraries do not do anything like this appears not to matter to them. We will be living in Republican ruins if they win. I am phone banking, donating, sending reminder cards, and doing everything humanly possible to make sure we keep our majority and expand it. Please help in any way possible.
