Report: internal power struggle between Mike Pence and Jared Kushner with Donald Trump hospitalized
Yesterday Palmer Report asked who’s running the White House while Donald Trump is sick in the hospital and under the influence of multiple experimental drugs. White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows is visibly flailing, and doesn’t seem to be running anything. Mike Pence is nowhere to be found.
Now we’re getting some answers, and it isn’t pretty. Rick Wilson from the Lincoln Project posted this tweet this afternoon: “Jared is now in control of the White House, including overriding personnel demanding that the Pence not travel due to [continuity of government] issues. The seat-fillers rebellion is ON.”
This is utterly disturbing, but it holds up logically. Kushner and Pence both know that if they take any disputes to Trump, he’s going to side with Kushner, so Pence is apparently unwilling to even bother fighting the battle. But it means Pence is such a weakling and coward, he’s willing to put his safety at risk – and put the presidential chain of command at risk – because he can’t figure out how to outwit Trump’s idiot son in law.
What a dumpster fire. It sounds like the only thing more unstable than the Trump White House with Donald Trump in it, is the Trump White House without Donald Trump in it. Vote these clowns out and let’s get back to being America.
