Donald Trump’s reign of terror

Dear Palmer Report readers, we all understand the difficult era we're heading into. Major media outlets are caving to Trump already. Even the internet itself and publishing platforms may be at risk. But Palmer Report is nonetheless going to lead the fight. We're funding our 2025 operating expenses now, so we can keep publishing no matter what happens. I'm asking you to contribute if you can, because the stakes are just so high. You can donate here.

Once again, presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden has had to take “president” Donald Trump to task. Trump has been spouting lies regarding coronavirus. Trump stood in the Rose Garden, suggesting that hospitals are using too many face masks for nefarious reasons. Why does this man say such ridiculous things, especially during a pandemic? Perhaps his outrageous behavior is another attempt at hiding his incompetence that has cost, and will continue to cost, people their lives.

Donald Trump’s insinuations were ridiculous: “Are they going out the back door?” Trump rhetorically asked reporters. Then, he became visibly angry when reporters asked him what he meant. This, of course, gave him an opportunity to attack Governor Cuomo, who is doing a far better job than Trump. Even though we all know Trump is an egotistical narcissist, his inability to tone down his behavior boggles the mind. Whatever is behind Trump’s unprofessional, uncalled for behavior, Joe Biden was having none of it.

“This is ridiculous and completely false,” Biden said. He continued by pointing out that Trump’s questioning of the number of masks hospitals need or use is “among the most reckless and ignorant” things Trump has said to date. No one may ever know Trump’s rationale, but the good side of his outlandish behavior is that he is making Joe Biden look more forceful, strong, and ready to take over the office of President of the United States.

Biden tweeted his utter disgust and disdain for “president” Donald Trump, indicating that Trump has failed to use the powers of the executive branch to get equipment to where it is most needed. He issued a challenge to Trump via Twitter: “In the next 48 hours, direct the production and distribution of respirator masks, gloves, protective face shields and gowns to fill every supply request made by a governor to the federal government.”

That’s what a real president would do. Instead, Trump wants to withhold supplies from governors who have not bowed down to him. This is not the behavior of a real leader of the United States; it’s a disaster. It is exactly what Joe Biden called it: “conspiracy-mongering,” and he also pointed out that “lives hang in the balance.”

Biden is the type of man we need in the White House. Not a lying, suspicious, pot-stirring, projectionist who threatens our lives every day that he remains in office. Instead of focusing on this pandemic, Trump is out bragging about his ratings. He tweeted that his ratings from his press briefings “are as big as The Bachelor and Monday Night Football.” Guess what, Trump? The attention you’re getting results from the media trying to decide whether to cover you at all due to your consistent lies and misleading information. He’s tone-deaf. Let’s add that he’s completely clueless and uncaring. We never needed someone like him in the White House, and he’s the last thing we need now. Yes, idiot, people are watching and waiting in vain for you to do job. Many have said it facetiously, but he really is the idiot-in-chief.
