Melania Trump’s “reappearance” yesterday went exactly like we predicted it would
Late on Sunday night, after she’d been missing in action for three and a half weeks, the White House announced that Melania Trump would be attending a Gold Star ceremony on Monday evening. This event was conveniently closed to reporters. Palmer Report told you how this was going to play out, and sure enough – on the White House’s end at least – that’s more or less precisely how it played out.
Here’s what we predicted would happen: Melania would attend the event, and then afterward, “the White House will release a retouched photo of Melania in the White House, and it’ll insist that there never was any scandal.” Sure enough, after the private gathering, Melania’s official @FLOTUS account tweeted a photo of her sitting next to Donald Trump. The photo was conveniently taken at such a distance, you can barely tell it’s even her.
We still have no way of knowing what kind of physical condition Melania Trump is in. Let’s say that she’s been in hiding because she hypothetically incurred bruises to her face, at the hands of, well, you know. From this photo, we wouldn’t be able to tell. For that matter, from this distance, Donald could be sitting next to a wax dummy of Melania, though if the White House did try such a prank, we’re pretty certain the attendees at the event would have raised a red flag about it.
So we’re comfortable in concluding that Melania Trump is still alive, and that at least during yesterday evening, she was indeed in the White House. But beyond that, we know nothing. We don’t know why she disappeared. We don’t know why Donald Trump and the White House keep lying to us about her disappearance. Now they’re telling us that Melania won’t attend the G7 Summit or the North Korea meeting, meaning that after this one BS stunt, she’s going right back into hiding. Now for the real question: will the mainstream media keep pursuing this scandal and coverup, or will this stunt succeed?
