Donald Trump is rapidly ensuring his own downfall
– Donald Trump has zero chance of getting anywhere by calling up the Governor of Georgia and demanding he overturn the election results. But Trump still has to face criminal charges for it. In fact Trump’s antics are all but ensuring the DOJ will end up having to charge him, because after stuff like this, too many Americans will be demanding that the DOJ charge him.
– Something to keep in mind for when Trump eventually starts getting hit with criminal charges: the term “SDNY” is widely used incorrectly. SDNY, which stands for Southern District of New York, is part of the DOJ and brings federal charges. SDNY has nothing at all to do with New York State. State charges will come from the New York Attorney General and/or Manhattan District Attorney.
